She holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Belarusian State University. She was a co-founder and the editor-in-chief of the first independent feminist newspaper “The Women’s Newspaper” in Belarus. Her research interests include gender and mass media, the history and theory of the Soviet school of journalism, and political communication. She is the author of several articles on these topics.
